Your curated guide to Patagonia, the Atlantic Coast and Buenos Aires — where to stay, what to do and how to make the most of every region.
From the mountains and lakes of San Martín de los Andes, to the pine-forested beaches of Cariló, to the energy of Buenos Aires and the quiet of its country estancias — Argentina is really several trips in one. This guide brings together our favorite spots and locally managed stays across the areas we operate in.
Our Patagonian home base sits in San Martín de los Andes — a mountain-and-lake town that shifts with the seasons, from winter snow to long summer days on the water and the trails.
The area's ski resort, just outside town — slopes for every level, plus snowboarding and mountain views over the lakes.

It's a year-round destination with two very different seasons. Winter (roughly June to September) is for snow at Cerro Chapelco and off-track adventures. Summer (December to March) opens up trekking, cycling and lake sports like kitesurf at Meliquina.
Cariló is unique in Argentina — a pine and eucalyptus forest that runs right to the beach, with unpaved sandy streets, no high-rises, and an upscale but peaceful feel. There's also a scenic golf course among the pines, minutes from our stays.
